Happy New Year!
Join us for the High Holidays at Sandton Central Shul

Shul Services

Shul Services at Chabad's Goodness & Kindness Centre are designed to make everyone feel welcome and at home. The prayers, conducted with Hebrew/English prayer-books, are lively, engaging and inclusive – spiced with inspiring tunes and insightful explanations throughout – allowing all to absorb the experience at their own level. Regardless of your level of religious observance you will feel most welcome as all stand equally beloved before G‑d. Sermons and announcements likewise speak to all participants, and are always topical, relevant, stimulating and enlightening.

High Holiday Kids Program

Children are welcome to join services!
We have a special children's program which includes care for young ones while parents are attending services. Kids will participate in some fun educational activities about the holidays and join the adult service for Shofar.

Parents are asked to supervise children who don't join the kids program so that there is no disturbance of the service.

Kids' Program
Led by our experienced and energetic group leaders, we will provide fun and educational programs for your children while you attend services. Each group will enjoy age appropriate games, stories, discussions, prayers and songs.
Programs runs from 10:30am to 1:00pm

Tashlich Service
In the late afternoon of Rosh Hashanah, the entire community joins together in a proud processional for the observance of tashlich. Representing the themes of renewal and rejuvenation, this tradition also has a way of demonstrating a spirit of communal solidarity as young and old march and sing together while en route to perform a fascinating mitzvah.
Join us at Mushroom Farm Park pond at 4:45pm.
