Shul Services

Services

Shul Services at Chabad's Goodness & Kindness Centre are designed to make everyone feel welcome and at home. The prayers, conducted with Hebrew/English prayer-books, are lively, engaging and inclusive – spiced with inspiring tunes and insightful explanations throughout – allowing all to absorb the experience at their own level. Regardless of your level of religious observance you will feel most welcome as all stand equally beloved before G‑d. Sermons and announcements likewise speak to all participants, and are always topical, relevant, stimulating and enlightening.

Yom Tov Delights

Prayer Group

To join us for the High Holidays is to enjoy an inspiring synthesis of delights for body and soul. The atmosphere is as physically comfortable as it is spiritually warm and inviting. Services are not only about prayers and rituals, but moreover about celebrating one’s Judaism as a dynamic and enriching community, experienced harmoniously by Jews of all backgrounds.

A holiday “Retreat” is held in conjunction with the services. In addition to attending services, you can join us for sumptuous and spirited holiday meals on Rosh Hashanah, and you can opt to take up lodging at your choice of neighbouring luxurious hotels for the nights of Rosh Hashanah and/or Yom Kippur at specially discounted rates. Participating in the Holiday Retreat will add a whole new dimension and flavour to your High Holiday experience.

You can look forward to ushering in the New Year enveloped by the uplifting spirit of joy, discovery and solidarity that is the hallmark of this unique programme.
